Not too long ago we looked like this.

How could She put up with me for 25 years? Repeating our vows. Tere is on my left in green. Bryan our youngest is the handsome guy in the back.

My Likes:

Family, mountains, forest, rivers, lakes, jungle, camping, hiking, bicycling, fishing, hunting, bird watching, rock and mineral collecting, photography, reading, aviation, chess, computers, good food and wines (I had a quad bypass June 3, 2005 Eating habits had to change.), working with people - especially young people, building and fixing things, learning new things, libraries, classical music, music from the 1940's & early 1950's and some rock from the 60's,70's, 80's and 90's, easy listening music, folk music and some country. Above all my belief in GOD and his Son Jesus. Did you ever sit down and try to list all the things you like and have to look forward to in life? My list above is short and far from complete.

I moved to Bolivia the second time Dec. 23, 1983. I am married to a Boliviana, Maria Teresa Blacut de Osborne. A large part of my likes are fulfilled here. At Present we are living in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. La Paz is short on O2 and quite cold. Now I'm retired we want a warmer place. We have spent time in Santa Cruz, Tarija and Cochabamba looking for a place to settle, but kept coming back to here.

I had a great work place, in which I got to do many of life's little pleasures, helping people, completing projects, building lives, and facilities, and a lot more. As of March 16, 2006 I was be laid off, not enough students to cover the expenses. The following are views of the school. more views

I love hunting, and varmints is what I used to hunt the most.

Not sure where this came from, I just hope it is not a sign of things to come. Hunters need M-60s!

COMPUTERS

ComputerACER (24K) ComputerACER2 (55K)
I bought an ACER E-360ASPIRE, above, AMD 939 socket based computer with a X2 dual CPU runs at 2.2GHz with one gig of memory the DDR 400. It cost less than I could have built one. Son John made the desk and chair for me.

This P3 running at 1.1MHz and 640MB ram is now my son John's. I've networked them through a T10 hub and a ZOOM 3 DSL modem connects to the world. This was my old Pentium MMX at 200MHz. It started life as a Compaq 286 16MHz and 8 meg ram a very long time ago. It is still running strong. I gave it to my godson. He is happy!

This sweater is one of my son and wife's creations.
